Here you see a selection of bar streets and a small selection of bars in Patong.
There are much more bars in Patong, which I unfortunately cannot show all,
please be understood if I forgotten any bars. All these Sois below are on the left side. |

I would like beginning with the, so-called old bar streets at the Taweewong Road (beach road), the Soi Dongtan and the Soi Seapearl (Sawatdirak Road).

| We go up the Soi Bangla coming direction on the left site from the Beach Road (Taweewong) and moving to the top at Rock Hard junction with Ratutit Road. Then we come along first to Soi Easy (former Bangla center). This bar area is located opposite the Kangaroo Bar.
Upstairs is the Dragon Club goes from strength to strength. There are now more nightly shows and it’s
own popularity with the local Expats makes it difficult to get a seat at times.

| One bar street resume, everything on the left roadside, you come to one of the oldest bar streets into the Bangla, the Soi-Gonzo. She changed like all other bar streets its face in the course of the years. At the entrance upstairs is the Blue Note Bar.

| Soi Crocodile,
or also called Soi Ladyman comes next. At the front of Soi Crocodile there is a dancing platform where ladymans prance around on stage.here it is nerved because of the many by-stander people to be over. These bar street is still drawing in the crowds. I think the attraction for tourists is that they want to be right
in the middle of the action. The loud music and the bar customers overlapping make it seem like it is one big street party. At the back of the street upstairs is the Crocodile Disco, which is unfortunately burning down however in March 2006.
(they want again open to the next season).

| Soi Eric
It is always clean and tidy and the bar owners are on site ensuring that their patch is run well.
The music is centrally controlled and easy on the ears because each bar have the same music with a disc jokey. Best Bar street to sit in Patong is for me the Soi Eric. At the end is a pizzeria. Upstairs is the Flash A-Go-Go Bar.

| Die Soi Sea Dragon
This is the widest Soi in the area. It has Go Go clubs and bars along each side and a central strip of bars. Some of the side bars have live bands playing their interpretation of rock music.
One is Coyote Bar and the other is the Hard Rock Cafe.
Next is Soi Lion.
This is actually only half the length of the others and has about twelve bars in
total. It does not attract as many punters as the bigger streets.
Soi Tiger
Tiger complex has two levels with a popular disco on the second level. This area starts a lot earlier than the other Sois. Upstairs is the Discothek Tiger Entertainment.
